Yep, we also saw these cute fuckers. There are only 80 of these Irrawaddy dolphins on the Mekong river from here in #kratie #cambodia up to Lao, the largest population of the five places they live. It says a lot about the state of the #mekong . The photo of the #irrawaddydolphins was ripped off the Google. @yo.tmaz and I saw them from a distance, but I really need an extra cute pic to comfort me after the presidential debate we watched this morning.
Home Chic Hotel Phnomh Penh
Cambodia has to be one of the leading countries in the so called “Flashpacker” craze, and the Home Chic Hotel in Phnomh Pehn is a shining example of this. Based 45 minutes by Tuk Tuk outside Sihanoukville, you’ll be well and truly off the beaten track, right at the point where forest meets beach, it’s in the perfect location for hiking, lounging on the beach, and meeting new people! They have cheap dorm rooms for $6 a night, or a family room for 4 people for $40. Not bad considering the view!

Otres 1 in Sihanoukville is still a little bit of a secret among backpackers. Less crowded than the other beaches, you’ll really be able to get your beach on here! Seagarden have their own private section of beach, so you won’t be fighting for your patch on the beach! Get yourself in a lounge chair under an umbrella and do your thing! One of the best hostels in Cambodia – and a killer view to make it even better!
Here Be Dragons Battambang
Battambang is a short drive over from Siem Reap and a great stop off if you’re on your way to or from Thailand overland. In Battambang you can’t say hostel without saying Here Be Dragons.
