Cheap Flights: Dublin to Boston For €70

I always promise to keep my readers up-to-date on cheap flights and any deals I come across and today I do believe I have HIT THE JACKPOT.

Wow Air, Iceland’s answer to Ryanair, have launched cheap flights to the United States from Amsterdam, Paris and Dublin for just 99 dollars. That’s like…70 euro. 70 euro for a flight to Boston or Washington is INSANE! That’s the same price as a return train ticket form Dublin to Cork! I know where I would rather go…

No doubt these flights will be taken before the day is over, but this announcement (via an email) is further proof that you really need to be signing up to all the airlines mailing lists to stay up-to-date on the cheapest flight deals out there.

Follow them on Twitter too – Ryanair always seem to be giving away cheap flights and vouchers on Twitter. (Both my friend Amanda and I won a 50 euro flight voucher in the last few weeks!)

Here an example I found on Skyscanner just now. (8pm on Wednesday July 15th) Although it’s not the promised 70 euro, it’s still amazingly cheap.

Strangely enough, despite cheap deals on the US version of the site, when I got to the Irish version of the site the deals seem to be a little bit different! Higher than above, but still pretty amazing. Has WOW Air suddenly made it possible to travel to the US for weekend breaks?!

Below is the cheapest flight I could find – 140 euro. (Checked at 8pm on Wednesday July 15th)

As always, happy travels!

    Wow…that’s insane!
I’m moving to America soon and have been really worried about if my family will ever get to visit as they don’t really have much disposable income…but seeing your posts makes me really hopefully.
    So thanks for posting :)
