2. Mayfair Hideaway Spa Resort, South Goa

Just as the name suggests, this is the perfect place to get away from it all, given its location in a charming little village in Goa. And who doesn’t need to get away from it all at least some of the time! We love the stunning architecture of this boutique hotel. If you really want to chill out then spend your day in the pool and the spa for a true treat! The hotel also offers a twice daily shuttle to the nearby beaches and they also offer many different sightseeing options which you can discuss with the friendly staff. With rooms costing from between 60 to 200euro a night depending on your room preference and also the deals on their website when you book, this is a great place to stay at during your trip to magical Goa.

3. Fortune Miramar Goa

This relatively new hotel is located not far from the beach, offers a great outdoor pool, and its prices start at approximately 100 euro a night for two people sharing. It’s a fantastic place to relax and especially ideal if you’re searching for a more modern type of comfort on your Indian getaway.

4. Turtle Hill, Canacona

On their website they claim to be ‘More than just beach huts’.and we sure can vouch for that! Located only a few minutes walk from the beach, from your lovely little Turtle Hill hut you’ll have a breathtaking view of the ocean. On the upper level of your accommodation you’ll find the master bedroom with its kingsize bed. The lower level has a lounge equipped with a couch and sunbed. 5. Casa Colvale, Colvale

All of the finely decorated rooms at Casa Colvale have private terraces or balconies overlooking the river. The dinners at their Riverside bar are truly delicious and you have the option of Italian, continental and Indian fine dining to choose from. The charming village in Colvale is steeped in history given its importance as a defence station in colonial times. However village life doesn’t mean you have to be completely isolated if you don’t want to be as Casa Colvale is still within a reasonable distance of Goa’s nightlife and is a only 20 minute drive from the nearest beach. Prices start at approximately 90euro a night.

6. Vivienda Dos Palhacos, Majorda

Tucked away in the quiet village of Majorda which is away from the main tourist drag, this beautifully restored Hindu-Portuguese hacienda is located close to one the most beautiful beaches in the whole area. The bedrooms are truly charming. One of our favourite things about Vivienda Dos Palhacos is the breakfast which is served at a 22 seat wooden table – giving the perfect opportunity to discuss travels with other guests and pick up on some tips. The choice of breakfast includes only the freshest of fruit and juices, Darjeeling tea, traditional Portuguese bread rolls, bacon and sausages. It’s definitely enough to keep you going until lunchtime rolls around! Prices starting from approximately 100 euro. One of the nicest hotels in Goa for sure!
